Login Help

If you are having trouble logging in to Red Alert using the UserID and Password sent to you in your initial Subscriber Email, please consider the following solutions:

  1. Make sure that your browser, Norton Anti Virus, or other software is set to a level that allows cookies; usually the medium (or a little lower) setting is sufficient.

    A cookie is a small amount of data that a web site stores on your hard disk. The purpose of a cookie is to store a preference that you specify, such as a custom page, or page setting. The Red Alert web site requires cookies, so if you disable or selectively disable cookies, be sure at least to allow Red Alert to use them.

    To enable cookies in Internet Explorer 7.x for a PC:

    • Open Internet Explorer.

    • Select the TOOLS menu and then click INTERNET OPTIONS.

    • Select the PRIVACY Tab.

    • Move the slider to a setting of medium or lower.

    • Alternatively, if you do not want to change your overall settings, push the "Sites" button and add http://redalert.wnd.com to the list of websites allowed to use cookies on your browser.

    To enable cookies in Internet Explorer 5.x for a MAC:

    • Open INTERNET EXPLORER.

    • Click EDIT and select the PREFERENCES option.

    • Under the RECEIVING FILES option, select COOKIES.

    • Next to "When receiving cookies:" select the desired level of cookie acceptance.

    • Click OK to finish.

  2. Adjust your firewall and/or antivirus programs to allow access to this exact address: http://redalert.wnd.com

  3. Turn-off your CAPS LOCK key because UserID and Password are case sensitive fields. For example:

    UserID: jsmith (no spaces, all lowercase)
    Password: 52401bg (no spaces, all lowercase, letters and numbers are acceptable)
